Week 1 with Personal Trainer Food

This is a sponsored post. All opinions are my own.

Over the past few months, I've been updating on how I've been on a weight loss journey. I started on March 1st and so far, I have lost 28.2 pounds. I'm really proud of the weight I've lost so far, but I still want to lose more. And sometimes I feel like it's a struggle, especially when a plateau hits.

A few weeks back, I was asked by Personal Trainer Food to try a month's worth of food from them to see if that will help me lose more weight. I jumped on the chance because I personally believe I hit so many plateaus because of my serving sizes. I live in the south with my family and most of the time in the south, your serving size is how much you can fit on the plate! I've really tried to take notice of this and when I make a normal serving size, my southern family always says, "Get more than that! That won't fill you up!"

Last Thursday, my giant box of food came and I couldn't be more thrilled. You get breakfasts, lunches and dinners for an entire month in the box so the previous day, I was making freezer room. When it all came, I sorted it out and placed them in the freezer to make for each day. Cooking them is simple too - you just put it in the microwave for 3 minutes and it steams itself.

What I really love is that it's all fresh food that was frozen for you. And the taste is amazing! And I'm not just saying that either. I love food and I won't eat something that doesn't taste good. So when I tried my first plate, I was shocked to see that it tasted delicious.

Plus a huge benefit to me is that on Personal Trainer Food, you chose the food you want from their menu. And they actually have low sodium options! Never before have I been able to use a weight loss food service because the sodium count on each item is usually too high for me. So I'm thrilled I could actually order things from Personal Trainer Food.

Currently my weight as of today is 177.8 and my goal weight is 125. I know my weight isn't anything to be excited about to most people but I started out at over 200 pounds so I am thrilled that my clothes are so much looser now. And I am getting compliments on my weight loss so it really makes me feel better about myself. But I want to learn how to eat normal sized portions too!

So the above shots are my before starting Personal Trainer Food photos. I will be checking in weekly to share how much I've lost each week and my thoughts on the program. And I will be posting a shot each week to show the changes.

Make sure to follow my journey this month on my Instagram as well!
