The Greater Atlanta McDonald’s Operators Association (GAMOA) partnered with bloggers such as me to help educate us all about McDonald’s products and offerings. As part of this program, I received compensation for my time. They did not tell me what to purchase or what to say about the use of the product. My entire family loves smoothies. So much in fact that we get them almost everyday! So when I pulled through McDonalds the other day and saw their newest smoothie, I knew I had to try it. The Blueberry Pomegranate Smoothie is absolutely delicious and is freshly prepared and hand poured for each customer. The McCafé Blueberry Pomegranate Smoothie is made with blueberries, raspberries, a splash of pomegranate juice and other juices and blended with low-fat yogurt and ice. Its unique flavor profile combines the tartness of pomegranate juice with the sweetness of blueberries and raspberries. Seriously though, it's delicious and I drank the entire thing without putting it down once!
The smoothie was introduced in May and is a permanent menu item that will be available year-round in all McDonald’s restaurants. So when you get those cravings after having one ( believe me, you will) it will still be there!
You can also customize your order by requesting your Blueberry Pomegranate Smoothies to be made with or without low-fat yogurt. And since a small size starts at 220 calories, it's well worth trying!
And if you're in the Atlanta area, then come down to Peachtree Road McDonalds on July 4th for a free sample of the blueberry pomegranate smoothie! The sampling truck will be outside the McDonald’s store on Peachtree during the 4th of July Peachtree Road Race. The location is 2929 Peachtree Road NE, Atlanta, GA 30305.
